long, rainy fall writing days + a few new projects

I spent the day squirreled away in my office in my comfiest linen pants and a favorite tee, consuming probably too much espresso. I did this because I am hard at work on something. More than one something, actually. One is a new book. The other is a book that will be coming out next year. (!!!!!)

In addition to these two projects I've been submersed in, there's a third very exciting project going...more on that soon. Keep an eye out right here on the blog. :)

These long, gray, rainy fall days spent in my office remind me of just how grateful I am for the opportunity to write. To tell stories. I love telling stories. Sometimes that simple fact gets a bit buried beneath all the task lists that come with being an author and sending books out into the world...but when it's all said and done, beneath the editing, re-reading, and many, many, many hours of work that go into each and every book...that's what drives me. That one, simple fact.

I love telling stories. It's a part of me and drives everything I do.

My books, if you haven't had a chance to read them yet:

What about you, creative writers? What have you been working on? Do you currently have a WIP going? Are you participating in this year's NaNoWriMo? Let me know, I would absolutely love to hear about it. 🌞📖🍂

stay stoked.
